Hospitals are usually looking for travelers to have 2 or more years of recent acute care experience. Depending on the hospital, they may also be looking for travel nursing experience as well.

The standard travel assignment today is 13 weeks, but you will find travel assignments for as few as 6 weeks to as long as 26 weeks.
